We are picky and can't find anything big to criticize. The veal cannelloni was as good as any I've had.

Fabulous! We make weekly trips to Covington to shop. We found Tony Boscoe's @ Terra Bella by searching Italian on our GPS. The wife craved alfredo. I called them to make sure it wasn't a pizza joint and was informed that they do not even serve pizza. PERFECT! What a delight. We were seated promptly and were entertained, for lack of a better term, by the 6 or 7 paragraph explaination of the daily specials. Extremely informative, yet difficult to decide due to my lack of ability to remember all the choices on the long list. I had to wonder if the servers had to memorize something else for their subsequent shifts. The Veal Cannelloni is a must try! Hands down, the best I've tasted! I don't usually care for cannalloni, but this was the wife's choice, despite having previously craved alfredo. She let me try it. I had my choices from the specials. We made a second trip when family visited and were once again very pleased (and entertained) with all selections. The specials, though accurately described, lack pricing information and may be a bit of a surprise when you get the check, but overall, I highly recommend this restaurant if you happen to be in the area. Take a drive through the Terra Bella community when you finish. Beautiful custom homes throughout. I will buy one when I win the Power Ball!

This was our first time to eat at Bosco's. We were greeted and seated by a friendly hostess and our waiter was also friendly and helpful with entree selections. The restaurant looks and feels upscale, but isn't at all cold or pretentious. I started with the corn & crab meat bisque, which was very tasty. For my entree, I had the ground veal, spinach & cheese cannelloni. There are two, one topped with a plain (but very good) red sauce and another topped with a red cream sauce. My husband had one of the specials: red fish topped with mushrooms, artichokes, and lump crab meat, all topped off with a lemon cream sauce. These were very different dishes. The cannelloni is heavy and hearty, whereas the fish was much lighter and healthier seeming, despite their both containing cream sauce. For dessert, we shared a ramekin of something I can't recall the name of. It was similar to creme brulee custard, but with a Frangelico sauce on top instead of burnt sugar. They have reasonably priced gourmet sandwiches at lunchtime. The meatball and "real" Reuben caught my eye. We'll definitely return.

Beautiful, unexpected slice of "southern" Italian. Love the BBQ shrimp and the seared ahi tuna. Mama Mia, the meatballs on anything are fantastic. Service was like a good gumbo... props ya'all to Valerie, Hank, and Gina.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
